Hello! This was my look for today, no heels though! I promise I will wear at least wedges tomorrow! Sorry for no posts on Saturday or Sunday, but I figured it would be well worth. My outfit is a grey Hello Kitty Forever 21 pull over, and a DIY’d Ombre Jean Vest I made for $3, Hollister Jeans, and my fave boots. I made this vest on Saturday for super cheaps.! I went to Goodwill and bought it for $2, went to Walmart and bought dye for a $1 (because it was a nasty jean colour before and I have to have a dark jean), and then I got some bleach (had to go over and borrow from a friend), and bleached it! Finally I added some pyramid studs for my final punk rock touch. I dyed it a dark jean colour, and bleached down from there. I would post a DIY video on it, maybe I will next time! I’m just not sure if I’m talented enough to make a DIY video! Christmas break goal! In the mean time I hope y’all pray for those in the east coast with this dreadful hurricaine, I have a lot of family up there and am really worried.

Hello Kitty Vans 2.0 2012
This  is my apology post for not posting last night! If any of my friends were to tell you one thing about me they would tell you how much I love Hello Kitty. I don’t know where it sprang out from to be honest I just started liking Hello Kitty and it started piling up and up and up. So last year when I saw that Vans started a Hello Kitty line I was really excited. Unfortunately they were not as versatile as I wanted them to be. Don’t get me wrong, I love love love Vans and Hello Kitty but together they were just a little bit gaudy and scene for me (google Hello Kitty Vans 2011) I didn’t buy any of the 2011 collections but when my friends dog chewed up my super scene pink and black checked Vans, and my friends mom offered to buy me a new pair. I couldn’t help but when she bought me the ones I wanted (which were the simple Black and pink Hello Kitty shown in the 3rd picture at about 9 o clock.  This is the 2012 collection though and I personally wanted the sailor blue Vans, but the black and pink laces are pretty rad. I don’t know why but I just feel like I wouldn’t buy any of these unless I got them for free, because even I don’t even wear mine a lot. It’s upto you though! I posted what I would wear with HK Vans! I am loving collared shirts right now!

I just cannot explain the severity of how true this is. I feel like I need to make fliers of this and post them around school.

Of course I dress warmer today, I’m wearing skinny jeans and a baseball tee to work, and I even got a pumpkin spice latte!

Today was essentially senior skip day at my high school and so we all went and did an “Outreach Project.” Mine consisted of my best friend Liz and I going down to the fancy part of town and shopping! I am wearing one of my favorite bands tank tops (Emarosa) they unfortunately broke up, but if you like post hardcore alternative, this would be great for you! My skirt is a hi-low from eBay I got for like $11 dollars maybe? My shoes are my favourite wedges ever! They are Harajuku Lovers, and I got them for a deal too like two years ago! I could not imagine a more perfect Wednesday with my best friend Liz! More pictures below!

Below are also the pieces I got! I got the perfect LBD from Forever 21! I usually buy really similar clothes as my friends say, so I have about 2 black lace dresses, but not a very good LBD.  It’s a sculpted black dress, and I love it. It’s very chic and can be dressed up very easily! I feel like Chanel Go Lightly in it! I got this very cute bow belt as well, makes anything cuter! True story. I also finally got myself a dark chambray/denim shirt. I am really looking for an ombre one, but I found the perfect shade. Unfortunately the picture isn’t correct below so y’all will have to wait! The Lil’ Wayne shirt is something I tried on and really liked, and I think I may go back and buy it! We also stopped by the H&M downtown and after walking around and finding nothing but a gorgeous collar that I couldn’t afford (27.80) and frankly could DIY better (plan to do) I stumbled into the outerwear and found a leopard coat (which Liz knew I had been wanting on for quite awhile) she convinced me to try it on, and then go look in the mirror. Right when I was trying it on a middle aged woman seemed interested in them too, but I ignored her and went and looked and was astonished that I was in LOVE with what I saw. The coat was perfect and a great contrast, and wasn’t too much, surprisingly. Plus the coat was only $40 (I have this thing now of buying outerwear from H&M) UGH I love the coat, and cannot wait to wear it! It’s fabulous! When I went to get rang up the sales girl told me that the woman was looking for the size 2 which I had. AWKWARD! I’m so glad Liz made me try it on!

This is how I do Karlie Kloss. You know there’s truly something about putting that pair of boots you adore so much on at the right time to help welcome fall. I have been dying to copy this outfit and here mine is! My leather jacket is from Nastygal and at first I was very cautious of buying it because it was $88 dollars. Looking back I could’ve got this jacket a long time ago and is totally worth the money! I think Karlie rocks it better but I’m no supermodel! Also, I have on Burgundy NYC lipstick which is only $0.99 and helps relieve the pain M.A.C. puts on me whenever I buy anything! I will hopefully have a beauty review up on it later. (Cateye Fever is my Youtube) These are my favourite riding boots and they are just perfect to wear! I get so many compliments on them! I bought them last year online from Target and they never cease to amaze me. These jeans are pretty simple from Hollister (I know, but their jeans rule) Well I’m off to shopping on this lovely Friday night!

Why not wear a crown of flowers, in your hair?
DIY FLOWER CROWN
Yesterday I spent a great deal of time making a flower crown, and I’ll be honest with you it wasn’t as easy as it seemed. The final time it took to make the crown was about 2 and half hours, but I got all my materials from the Dollar Tree, so that could be why. I saw these crowns come into style from Lana Del Rey, who I have ambivalent feelings for and didn’t love love love these at first. I have always been more of a dandelion flower girl. Furthermore, I think Lana is stunning, she has a vintage look to her but I am not sure how much I like her style minus the crowns. I think her H&M ads are gorgeous and she has fabulous hair and makeup taste but still I’m not exactly sure if I like her. Her music makes me feel strange.
Moving, on I LOVELOVELOVE Audrey Kitching. I would do anything for her, and when she posted the picture of her in this crown last May I couldn’t wait to post it on my blog. I liked the crown but not enough to start searching. I haven’t quite experimented on the prices of these crowns because I was so quick to make one, but I’m excited to make a second one with better quality flowers! The instructions above seem pretty simple compared to what I did, which isn’t even worth blogging. I hope y’all try this!
