I'm not a big fan of the traditional blazer. However, I do love a colorful blazer that brightens up your outfit and mood. There's something about wearing pink that makes me so happy.

Hello friends! Can you believe we are nearing the end of October?! I'm so sad to see October go so I have been trying to do all the fall things! Pumpkin pie concretes at Andys, carving pumpkins, watching Scream with my best friend, and enjoying this lovely weather!

There's something about black and white chevron that just really gets me.
When I saw LeTote had this chevron blazer, I knew I had to have it. Black and white chevron, so simple. Today was a really great day. I went to my favourite salon, Paisley & Stripe, and saw my favourite stylist Alex. I haven't seen Alex since August, so it was fun to catch up and remake my look. I know my hair doesn't look all that different, trust me do I know, but it feels different to me. I wanted a sleeker, smoother, and ultimately healthier look. Of course Alex always knocks my hair out of the park. Going to the hair salon is always one of my favourite things to do, and with only a week left of vacation I'm filling it up with things I love. To make my day even better I got to get coffee with my favourite French teacher from high school and some very good friends. This blazer is so fun and much more versatile than I initially expected though it also looks just like my duvet cover in my dorm. I liked pairing it with a simple band t-shirt rather than a dressy blouse. Gives more of a punk rock feel to me which is always what I'm going for.

There's something about black and white chevron that just really gets me.
When I saw LeTote had this chevron blazer, I knew I had to have it. Black and white chevron, so simple. Today was a really great day. I went to my favourite salon, Paisley & Stripe, and saw my favourite stylist Alex. I haven't seen Alex since August, so it was fun to catch up and remake my look. I was rushing like crazy resulting in me eating two meals overall (today) and having to haul myself out the door! I was in Topeka today for a FBLA state conference. I love dressing professionally but I own 0 pairs of dress pants. I saw these pink Cynthia Rowley trousers at Marshalls and after declaring no more remorse shopping I had to go back and buy them. I was in a rush practically all day driving my friend, and fellow movie lover Jay to take my pictures today! For a photography newb, he did great, right? If I could do this outfit over again I would have slicked back my hair, brought my Damier Azur Louis Vuitton, and chosen nude heels.

One of the worst things is when you wake up late and are rushing. AMIRITE?
