I've been an Influenster since my freshman year of university, and I've got to say this YSL Voxbox is definitely my fave. How could I say no to such luxurious packaging and products? (Although I really enjoyed the P&G Voxbox where I got Tide Pods that made my clothes smell like rain). I was so excited to finally see this package on my doorstep!

For some strange reason I love seeing an empty product almost more than I like buying something brand new. Why? I guess the reason for this is due to my everlasting desire to try new beauty or haircare products. I feel like I always read about a new product to try when I don't need it, thus the end of a products life for me is a happy time.

Hello again wonderful people! I was hoping to have this post done last week but life happened and here I am back to the site today and publishing something fresh.

This past weekend I was beyond busy: I went to the Kansas City Container Store preview (coveting so many things), got a new mattress from Ikea (I promise this is exciting news for me!), went to a rehearsal dinner/wedding, and I finally got around to seeing Whiplash!

Life slowed down a bit and I visited the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art with my dear friend Liz. Unfortunately a lot of the collection was closed, so pondering the meanings of each work was slim. Nevertheless the museum is beautiful and I'm excited to go back and see everything. One of my favourite pieces was Archie Scott Gobber's, "Be a good loser."

I have quite an affinity for wearing black and minimalism, however I often get tired of this look. I feel like it can get monotonous especially in the summer. While I still am a firm believer in the power of black, I also am a firm believer in the power of summer  Thus I have been wearing more colorful looks compared to the normal black on black on black "Chanel" aesthetic, but it's summer, and I'll wear dresses with fruit on them if I want to. I found this dress new with tags on Poshmark originally from Modcloth for un prix intéressant (a good price). I think it will be seeing some more beautiful summer days.

Onto these baby blues- I'm going to be honest with you, I am a former Betsey Johnson addict. I feel like I need to say this amongst others who have had a similar problem in a Confessions of a Shopaholic-esque meeting. I eyed these heels (Bells Silver Satin Something Blue by Betsey Johnson) for quite awhile, but I kept talking myself out of purchasing them. However, this pair found its way to my doorstep and I'm overjoyed. I've been looking for clean, simple heels to transition into my twenties. Although this pair is white, and cleaning them is a pain, the bejeweled heels and baby blue soles and blisters are totally worth it.

I hope y'all have a wonderful July and enjoy each warm day with huge scoops of ice cream and open toed shoes
