Though NYFW wrapped on February 14th I thought I’d still update y’all.
3.1 Phillip Lim NYFW A/W 2013
I know I promised weekly NYFW updates but I couldn't help myself. I am absolutely, positively, head over heels for this collection. It kinda reminds me of that cool girl who lurks into class late but still looks fabulous with a half thrown outfit on. I like the legwarmer esque attachments to the shoes and the contrast between black and brown leather. The hair and makeup is also perfect as well, the look is sort of dark, yet messy. I JUST AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS COLLECTION!

3.1 Phillip Lim NYFW A/W 2013
I know I promised weekly NYFW updates but I couldn't help myself. I am absolutely, positively, head over heels for this collection. #NYFW A/W 2013 Weekly Update: Week 1 As this week (and the first week of Fashion Week for A/W) rolls to an end I have been meticulously following #nwfw on Twitter.
Watching Vogue, Rachel Zoe, Nylon Mag, Audrey Kitching, and many others in the fashion industry have been posting updates on what's going down in NYC. Whether it be trends, celebrities, style, runway music, etc. I have been attentively following it.
Week 1. Plaid is still in and in huge proportions. I adore the inside pattern of plaid in the cape above. Metallics, LOVE! Leather in less dramatic colours. Oranges, burgundys, olives, beiges, etc. Two-tone lip colours from MAC.
I personally love the metallics coming back and am excited to see the nail news for polishes!
