Violet, you're turning violet, Violet! Truthfully, violet is a color that I've never really had in my closet. Not for any particular reason, I guess I've just never pushed myself out of my color comfort zone until recently when I decided I wanted more colors in my dress collection.

When I was in undergrad my friends would tell me that all the clothes I bought looked the same. It was always something I thought was funny because in a way its sort of true. I tend to gravitate towards silhouettes and styles that I'm familiar with and that I know will suit my petite frame. I'd rather buy iterations of things that I would actually like then invest in trendy pieces that aren't durable.
