Outreach Day

October 17, 2012

Today was essentially senior skip day at my high school and so we all went and did an “Outreach Project.” Mine consisted of my best friend Liz and I going down to the fancy part of town and shopping!

I am wearing one of my favorite bands tank tops (Emarosa) they unfortunately broke up, but if you like post hardcore alternative, this would be great for you! My skirt is a hi-low from eBay I got for like $11 dollars maybe? My shoes are my favourite wedges ever! They are Harajuku Lovers, and I got them for a deal too like two years ago! I could not imagine a more perfect Wednesday with my best friend Liz! More pictures below!

Below are also the pieces I got! I got the perfect LBD from Forever 21! I usually buy really similar clothes as my friends say, so I have about 2 black lace dresses, but not a very good LBD.  It’s a sculpted black dress, and I love it. It’s very chic and can be dressed up very easily! I feel like Chanel Go Lightly in it! I got this very cute bow belt as well, makes anything cuter! True story. I also finally got myself a dark chambray/denim shirt. I am really looking for an ombre one, but I found the perfect shade. Unfortunately the picture isn’t correct below so y’all will have to wait! The Lil’ Wayne shirt is something I tried on and really liked, and I think I may go back and buy it! We also stopped by the H&M downtown and after walking around and finding nothing but a gorgeous collar that I couldn’t afford (27.80) and frankly could DIY better (plan to do) I stumbled into the outerwear and found a leopard coat (which Liz knew I had been wanting on for quite awhile) she convinced me to try it on, and then go look in the mirror. Right when I was trying it on another woman seemed interested in it too. When I looked in the mirror I was astonished that I was in LOVE with what I saw. The coat was perfect and a great contrast, and wasn’t too much, surprisingly. Plus the coat was only $40 (I have this thing now of buying outerwear from H&M) UGH I love the coat, and cannot wait to wear it! It’s fabulous! When I went to get rang up the sales girl told me that the woman was looking for the size 2 which I had. AWKWARD! I’m so glad Liz made me try it on!
