Pick of the Patch

October 29, 2020

Today's post is brought to you by Chanel No. 1, outfit repeater and proud! I've had this turtleneck for 5 years and it has become somewhat of a signature Chanel look? It's something I wear over and over again and still love. While it's been featured on the blog before I really love these pictures we took at Schaake's Pumpkin Patch! If you've never been to this pumpkin patch before its a sight for sore eyes.

Fall has always been my favorite season especially when it comes to fashion. I tend to gravitate towards neutrals, turtlenecks, layers,  and boots. Since the weather in Kansas City can be so frigid I need pieces that can last year after year. I've had almost all of these pieces 4+ years!

Be still my heart, fall is here in Kansas City. The leaves are changing . I am the star of my own movie! Fall is the season where I tend to be the biggest outfit repeater and somehow never tire of wearing the same thing over and over. I'm always gravitating towards my leather jacket, turtlenecks, denim, and ankle boots.

This nail polish is giving me so much life! OPI's Complimentary Wine from the Muse of Milan collection.

Fall inspired makeup is my jam. Orange, brown, gold, and cranberry hues are so vibrant in the fall. Too Faced's Just Peachy Mattes palette is constantly on repeat for me. It has a great range of wearable fall tones for every skin tone. Also, I'm wearing the Melted Matte Gingerbread Girl Lipstick. Such a pretty color and one that I actually don't have in my collection.
What do you think of this year's Chanel pumpkin?! Stepping up my game here. S/O to Liz for being a great PM.
I would be remiss to say that most of October I have felt somewhat in a funk. There's a lot going on right now in the world and in my own life. I'm trying to navigate it all, with the necessary care needed. Nevertheless, Chanel-o-ween certainly looks different this year, but I'm still psyched about it. I hope you're able to find ways to celebrate while being socially distant! My friend Liz and I are carving pumpkins today and baking something fall inspired! Happy Chanel-o-ween, beautiful people. Stay well, and VOTE!

The photos at the pumpkin patch look great as well! Enjoy your Halloween - we are officially allowed to trick or treat here but I've never seen anyone do it, it's really more an American thing!

Hope that you are having a good week! :)

  11. Chanel-o-ween - that's amazing Sonia! Really made me smile. I know what you mean about being in a funk - hence why I haven't been blogging much. I think all we can do is go with the flow and just ride with it to be honest, we can't expect much more than that really!
