Pumpkinhead

October 31, 2019

Hi beautiful people! Happy Chanel-o-ween! I think this just might be my favorite fall post yet. Thanks to my friend Mallory who accompanied me to a pumpkin patch that I've lived by my entire life yet have never visited until today.
As I finish my last semester (Still in bewilderment?!) of grad school I have been gravitating more towards simple yet stylish looks. I actually picked up a couple new pieces to get me through these next few months.
What do you guys think of my Chanel pumpkin?! I have never actually carved a pumpkin but I convinced my friend Liz that we should and look how great it turned out! A Chanel pumpkin for Diwali and Halloween!
I am obsessed with this silk Missoni scarf from the  Target 20 Years Design for All  collection. It was one of the few items on my list from the collection. Such quality and Missoni's chevron is so lovely. The color combination is such a pick me up.
I paired this scarf with a simple cotton turtleneck from American Apparel. I love that the turtleneck trend is so in right now but I'm in it for the long haul since 2k16. Steve Jobs was onto something.
One of my favorite blog posts by Julia Engel is 8 Ways to Style a Silk Scarf. Super chic and realistic ways to tie your scarf! I need to try the handbag method.

When Erdem x H&M dropped a couple years ago I completely missed it. As usual the prices were still astronomical for H&M but the quality of these pieces was pretty good. Leather bags and shoes, and some natural fibers.
I found these kitten heels on Poshmark for $36 originally retailing for $249. They are leather heels and leather upper so its literally such a steal. Plus kitten heels are so stylish and comfortable!

Hope everyone has a happy, spooky, and safe Halloween! Blast Thriller (and all MJ tunes tbh), watch all of Scream Queens, and eat as much Milky Way Midnights you can. I am a little sad to announce this but I will be taking a break from the blog for the next seven or so weeks. With work and finishing up my degree it doesn't leave much time to sleep or blog. Don't fear I will be back on the blog in mid-December. In the mean time I'll try to be active on IG but can't make any promises. Duty calls, friends!

Wearing: Top - American Apparel, scarf - Missoni for Target, shoes - Erdem x H&M, jeans - Urban Outffiters, belt - Gucci, nails - OPI Suzi Needs a Loch-Smith

Many thanks to my dear friend, Mallory who always takes my pictures and doesn't say no when I want to include someone's pet.
