But First, Lip Gloss

April 24, 2018

eos gifted me their new Aqua Dynamic Lip Gloss and I'm so excited to be reviewing here on the blog.

When I think about eos I think of Miley Cyrus' We Can't Stop music video where Miley made her new debut and had the perfect amount of product placement advertising. For real that music video is advertising genius. Since then I've tried countless EOS products from their lotion to lip balms which I look forward to in my Christmas stocking every year (peppermint and grapefruit are my favorite).

The Aqua Dyanimic Lip Gloss is a hydrating lip gloss with a long-lasting formula, high impact shine, and the color adjusts based on your unique lip chemistry! How cool is that? This lip gloss is part of their new skin-care collection called the EOS Aqua Collection. The line is inspired by the textures and benefits of water with seaweed.

I used to be a lip gloss fiend in middle school. Punk Grapefruit from Bath and Body Work's was my #1. Since then I haven't found a lot of lip glosses that I've liked just basically Buxom's but its slightly too sticky.

What I've noticed about the EOS Aqua Dynamic lip gloss is that it doesn't remind me of lip gloss. I apply it and initially its slightly sticky, but it feels really comfortable and moisturizing! I don't notice my hair getting stuck in it either. Since this is a color changing lip gloss I wasn't sure what to get. When I first tried the lip gloss it I was surprised that the white applicator immediately turned berry. The color is a rosy pink for me, and it has a nice shine. One layer of lip gloss is enough for hydration and color I was truly surprised! Especially because my lips have been really struggling with chapstick alone and this gloss has been reviving my lips.

The packaging is elegant and clean. I sort of expected more because EOS is known for their innovative packaging, but I don't think a round lip gloss makes sense. Th Aqua Dynamic comes in a blue box that opens into a leaf which I love!

As for the ingredient list it consists of: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Oil, Dimer Dilinoleyl Dimer Dilinoleate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Castor Oil Dimer Dilinoleate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Octyldodecyl Neopentanoate, Flavor (Aroma), Ascophyllum Nodosum Extract, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Hydroxystearic Acid, Silica, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Tin Oxide, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Red 27 (CI 45410), Blue 1 (CI 42090).

So EOS lip gloss? I like it a lot, and it might actually be a game changer for me. Lip gloss that has a good color, isn't sticky, and hydrates my lips? Sign me up for more!

You can purchase the lip gloss exclusively, here.

I received these products complimentary from eos for testing purposes. All opinions are always my own.

  9. I'll be honest that I never even knew EOS did anything but lip balms! Lip gloss can be quite uncomfortable at times so it's reassuring to know the Aqua Dynamic isn't!
