Pixi Vitamin C

September 5, 2019

A hot minute ago I received this fun package in the mail. At first I was confused. Was it one of those scary protein powders my brother buys from GNC? No! It was an adorable package from Pixi Beauty! So cute it was even prepared/prescribed for me!
The Pixi Vitamin-C collection is a rather new collection that is meant to brighten, protect and preserve your skin. Vitamin C  has some serious antioxidant power and promotes healthy collagen which can lead to glowing skin. I'm not surprised that Pixi Beauty came out with a Vitamin C collection because their products are already so focused on creating glowing skin!

This cleanser is a little misleading. Instead of being a face wash/cleanser, its a cleansing water. They suggest using this daily but I don't think this cleansing water is meant to remove any makeup/impurities. I use it more as a toner after cleansing my face. Its usually the third product I use when washing my face. It definitely feels refreshing to use but I can't say that my face looks noticeably brighter, but at the same time I can see some luminosity on my worn skin.

This is a serum that is supposed to help create a smoother complexion and reducing sun damage. Its nice to finally have a vitamin c serum again. Vitamin C serum in general is one I swear by. It does so much! A few drops really does a lot. It definitely warms up my dull face when I roll out of bed. I really like using this serum apart of my morning routine.

Another product I like using in my morning routine, this lotion is light and smells like oranges (who's surprised). It's a nice pick me up in the morning. I don't really notice my face being more luminous but it sure is a nice lotion!

Caviar balm? This is a brightening leave-on mask. I like these kind of masks because you can slap it on before bed and they just soak up. This caviar balm is so good. Its a must when your skin needs extra moisture/rejuvenation. I would totally repurchase this balm.

Finally I swear a rite of passage is to get a Pixi Beauty toner and I have never got one until now! This is a beautiful vitamin c toner. My skin definitely is more brighter after consistently using this! It kind of reminds me of this Ren's Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic. Except this toner is a whole lot cheaper and does the same!

Overall I like this collection! I would suggest the Pixi Beauty brand/the Vitamin-C collection for someone who is new to skincare. This is a great brand to explore serum, tonic, etc. for those on a budget. I'm surprised that the packaging isn't orange because of the whole focus on Vitamin C?! I would definitely repurchase the lotion and serum. These are the big winners for me!

I received these products courtesy of Pixi Beauty. All opinions are always my own.

  3. I love just affordable their skincare is. Haven't tried the C range, but am a big fan of their Rose line - especially the cleanser. It is so mild and perfect for sensitive skin xx
