Hello friends! Can you believe we are nearing the end of October?! I'm so sad to see October go so I have been trying to do all the fall things! Pumpkin pie concretes at Andys, carving pumpkins, watching Scream with my best friend, and enjoying this lovely weather!

Hello friends! I am finally back on the blog! This post is one I truly never saw coming. When I think of Uggs it's hard not to just think of the Simple Life. I think my mind started changing when I saw Rachel Zoe style Uggs back in 2015. If one person can change my mind its certainly her. I first saw this style of Uggs in the library during my undergrad. A student was wearing them (very stylishly I might add) and my mind started turning. The quintessential question as always where do I get these?

Since I started my internship I realized that wearing heels at the office is the easiest way to make me exhausted. So I thought long and hard what my options could be. A) Buy a temporary pair of shoes off eBay to wear through the summer (not actually tackling the problem of finding a comfortable pair of shoes for the office that work for me IRL) or B) Buying something comfortable, versatile, and higher-end that would be considered expensive overall, but the style will endure.

Converse and I go way back. To the days where I was kicking a tetherball on the black top and watching the Ramones' music videos on Yahoo Video. So when Collectively and Converse reached out to be apart of the #foreverchuck program I was excited!

I think watching Nancy Drew (the Emma Roberts one) too many times got me fixated on loafers. In the movie Nancy says, "Penny loafers are practical." I got thinking about penny loafers and the style of shoe that seems to be popping up from every brand. Although loafers are practical shoes there's more to them. They're clean and modest and a bit androgynous. Personally, they are a nice in between when I don't want to wear birkenstocks, classic Vans, or chelsea boots (which I tend to wear a bit too much).
When I was browsing Urban Outfitters, I found a beautiful black pair of loafers Bianca Leather Loafers originally $69. I was hoping to find this pair in D.C. but they didn't have them in store, fortunately they shipped them to me and the pair was only $20?!?

Lately I've been falling back in love with Urban Outfitters. I took a hiatus from shopping there a few years ago because I wanted to try to save some money and I was spending way too much. I always use to scour their sale section finding nothing, but the other day I was in forensics class and decided to check it out. THERE WAS A HUGE VARIETY OF GOOD LOOKING CLOTHES FOR ONCE! In particular I've been keeping my eye out for new shoes because most of my heels/wedges are worn down.
I saw these rad Deena & Ozzy shoes (love D&O). I liked the plastic looking toe cover and black is always good. I always like buying shoes that are versatile. For the most part the reviews were good, and as soon as I could picture a Rachel Zoe approving outfit, I also found two lounge worthy perfect-for-college v-necks in crimson and dark green for 9.99 each, these shoes for 29.99, and a scholarship interview worthy pencil skirt for a whopping 1.99 WHAT (which indeed I needed to get free shipping). The only unfortunate thing about buying shoes online is that even though reviews may say things, shoes still may not fit. When I tried these shoes on there was more room in the back than my size 9 elephant feet could handle. Sadly, I will be sending them back, but luckily UO gives free returns. Oh well!
