The Do It All Dress

July 14, 2017

Ever see a dress and you just have to have it? When I saw this J. Crew Lillian dress in gardenshade I knew it had to be mine. I kept scouring Poshmark and eBay for it in my size with no luck. I really wanted this dress because it seemed like the dress that could do it all and be worn for basically any occasion.
A job interview, a graduation party, a work event, date night, family gathering, wedding reception, you name and I think this dress can do it.
Initially I wanted this dress for my graduation party, it seemed the right amount of Mad Men, Nancy Drew, and hostess-y. I got to thinking and this dress seemed to be perfect for any occasion in my life That revelation made the hunt for this dress even more fierce. Finally, I finally turned to a Facebook BST group where I found this beautiful piece.
Although I had to get this dress taken in a bit, it's beautiful. The print is so pretty, and I love everything about this dress. Like I said, I think it can be worn to any type of event whether it be a graduation party, a work event, or even a wedding reception. My goal for this dress is to wear it for 10 different occasions. Shall I keep you posted?

Not to forget the shoes, these ankle strap black heels are from the Altuzarra for Target collection. I bought them off Poshmark for $20 and I don't regret it! The quality is impeccable, truly. These shoes go with everything too!
Although I didn't think a do it all dress to be so versatile, I think this dress has a lot of room for me to do whatever makeup look I want. I could see myself wearing this dress with a berry, brown, rose, or nude lip!
So friends what do you think about my, "Do It All Dress?" Do you have a dress that works for every occasion? Tell me about it?!
