Packing with Stylebook

March 24, 2019

It has officially been a year on my journey of getting back together with Stylebook. You might remember this post I wrote last April about how I rediscovered this application. Since then this app has taught me so much about my wardrobe and my personal style. It has helped me become more truthful and honest with not only my style but my wallet.

Lately I have been travelling more which I love! It gives me something to look forward to. Plus, seeing new places with the people you love is one of the best ways to spend time. However I don't get a kick out of packing, or unpacking for that matter. Recently I found the best Packing Checklist from Day Designer. All you have to do is sign up with your email address and you can download it in pdf form. I like this checklist so much because its really thorough. I only have to add a few of my own travel necessities (iPod, earplugs, and a sleep mask). This sheet was all I used on a recent trip I took.

Stylebook has really taken the painfulness out of packing my clothes and organizing my looks. Its funny for me to think at one point of time I really did list my outfits on a sheet of paper crammed into my makeup bag...Oh how I wish I had started using Stylebook earlier.

Typically I pack for the duration of my trip and add a couple extra shirts here or there just in case!

The app lets you create packing lists. I visit D.C. frequently so this is a packing list I keep year round. You can add items of clothing to a packing list or create looks. The nice thing about creating looks is that all the items of the look are added. I tend to create looks and then add items based on the weather. I also like that you can add text items. I should probably use this feature to list the twelve eyeshadow palettes I will soon pack...

I love that you can create "What to Pack" info-graphics like the ones you see all over Pinterest. I always choose a piece of artwork from a museum in the city I visit for the cover photo.

In between using the Packing Checklist from Day Designer + Stylebook, my packing game is on a new level. What tips and tricks do you have for packing? How do you keep your outfits organized?

  1. This is a great idea! I should really look into this, as a chronic over-packer, haha!

Hope you had a great weekend :) The weekday wear linkup is live on my blog, I'd love you to join! :)
